Environment
Environmental care is one of the main principles of Livar’s operation; we pursue the reducing the burden on the environment at the sources of pollution, while cooperating with suppliers in the development of environment-friendly materials. To date, Livar has received two awards for achievements in the field of efficient use of energy. In cooperation with the National Institute of Biology, Livar has built constructed wetlands at the foundry waste disposal site at Suhi Most (Ivančna Gorica).
Livar demonstrates its environmental commitment through its environment policy, the international standard ISO 140001, the integrated environmental permit issued by the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, and regular environmental reports.
Since September 2004, we have had a green telephone number (+386 (0)1-786-99-39), through which the citizens may express their comments, appraisals and opinions.
